The Lake House
The Lake House
The Lake House is an architect designed building that perfectly compliments its beautiful position. It sits among 80 acres of native coastal bushland, nestled between an estuary and the ocean. The house has 2 large bedrooms (both with ensuite) and 2 huge lounge areas. There’s a games room with a full size billiards table. Decks spill from the house in all directions making it easy to follow the sun no matter what the time of day.
It has views across the ocean towards Bicheno, as well as inland to the mountains of the Douglas Apsley National Park.
It’s a 2 minute walk to the beach.
A family of wild deer visit regularly around dusk. At night you can watch the lights come on in Bicheno, or settle back to watch a movie on the outstanding home theatre.
The underfloor heating provides comfort all year round. With striking angles and lots of glass The Lake House has a contemporary feel and is just the thing for those who like a little space and luxury.
There is a network of tracks around the property where you can explore the local flora and fauna. The waterway is a haven for all kinds of birdlife, including a number of rare migratory species.
The Lake House is perfect for those looking for total privacy and comfort.
Guests travelling with children under 8 are advised to consider either The Beach House or The Cottages.
The Lake House sleeps 5 - with a king bed in the main bedroom, a queen bed in the 2nd bedroom and a single bed in the 2nd lounge that doubles as a day bed. Additional bedding can be arranged, so please enquire if you have more in your group.
